Firstly, gorgeous Emily :D Sister to cute & cheeky Isabelle. I loved photographing you guys again xo
I was just thinking when we did these photo's it was so warm & now I am sitting here & although it is beautiful outside, I've got cold toes sitting here inside! Winter is coming for sure!
Next was the stunning Emma as she prepared for her Yr 12 Ball. I absolutely adored her dress. She looked so elegant & beautiful.
The following week I took Zali down to the All Saints' Literature Festival in Perth. Well worth the effort if ever your child gets the opportunity to attend. We were a bit lucky as we also got to catch up with some good friends + have a spot of girly time together!!
The following weekend we headed back down to Perth again for my sister Bonnie's Hen's Day! We had a 1950's theme, hired a bus & did a winery tour of the Swan Valley before finishing up at The Windsor in South Perth. Was a GREAT day/evening!!
We stayed in Perth the following week to help Bonnie & John with the wedding organisation. I thought we would have time to have a mini holiday as well, but the week went by so quickly catching up with everyone & helping out with the preparations, before I knew it it was Easter Sunday & wedding day!!
I have 4 sisters & we were all bridesmaids for Bonnie :D I don't have any photo's to share yet, but if you want a sneak peek, you can head over to the Merge Photography Blog & have a looksie! I can't wait to see the rest! It was such an awesome day :D Our family really knows how to have a good time when we all get together!
Back home & straight back in to it, welcoming little Pia into the world :D
we also strolled down the beach for a bit to capture cute little Elke!
The next shoot was a Boudoir & while it's not a requirement to sign a Release for these shoots, which allows me to share your images legally. This gorgeous lady did & who could blame her - she looks AMAZING!
The following weekend we had good friends' joint 35th - the theme was 70's & the night was hilarious!! Almost everyone made a huge effort to dress up & there were some very sexy lamb chops being sported by some of the boys!!! White boots, crazy patterned tights & dresses, lots of big hair & bright colours! Good, GOOD fun!!
Next was Belynda & Bernie's wedding at the Lavender Farm just down the road here in Chapman Valley. It's a new (& much needed!) function centre for us in the Mid West. Liz has done an amazing job out there. It looks fantastic & I am sure will only improve over time.
The view from the gardens over looking a valley & up into the hills is a gorgeous setting for the ceremony.
(ok plug over! Sorry I can't help but promote local businesses - it makes me smile to see them do well.)
BUT for the star attractions of the day, that would be Belynda & Bernie! Two absolutely beautiful people, inside & out. We had such a fabulous time with them & their 'crew' - it made it so much fun for us & as a result we captured some fantastic moments :D
I knew we were going to venture into this paddock & should have known better than to wear short pants! My legs were so cut up after walking thru the stubble! I am SO thrilled with the photo though - it was more than worth it!
I think the Bridal Party was a bit stunned when I asked them to run!! By the end we were all in fits of laughter!!!!
The love these two shared was so beautiful & so very visible.
and finally, we were blessed with the most amazing sunset! :D
Thank you so much Belynda & Bernie for entrusting us to capture your amazing day. Ren & I loved it, although now he wants his own Holden Special!!! Congratulations again xox
The final update for this post are these cheeky little monkey's!! The youngest one (Fletcher) took a while to warm, but he couldn't resist giving big brother Lachie a lick when I ask them to kiss him!!!
another amazing sunset if you please!
I had another wedding on the weekend just gone, but have barely had a chance to flick thru those image, much less process any for posting! So I will be back!!!
This weekend my sister Tess & her man Yves, are up :D woo hoo!! Can't wait to see them xo
The following weekend I am heading to Perth for 5 shoots & to say farewell to Tess & Yves who are off on their 3 month journey thru South America!!! Jealous much?!
I'll try not leave it so long between posts next time.... hopefully!!
but before I leave. Happy 14 years to my amazing husband! I can't remember a time without you by my side. I am so proud to be your wife. Love you xox
