Our school holidays whirled past in a hive of activity for us!
Firstly we headed to Perth & photographed my beautiful friend Hannah :D
Can't wait to meet the new arrival Han :D xox
Ren & I then headed to Bali to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (yay us!) and to attend Ren's best mate's wedding :D Was such a great evening!
Congratulations Paul & Vanessa. Wishing you much love & happiness together :) xox
We arrived back in Perth on the Monday of the 2nd week of the holidays with the kids waiting ever so patiently for us to clear Customs at the airport. When we came thru the doors, Fynn bolted towards me, I bent down, spread my arms out to wrap him up in an enormous cuddle.... then in a spilt second he spotted Ren behind me, did this massive curved detour around me to get to him!! The whole airport erupted in laughter..... I was mortified!!!!! Zali skulked up to me & gave me a cuddle, but *sheesh* obviously 7 days away isn't quite long enough!!!
We then headed down to Bunbury to catch up with Ren's sister Nats & family :) Thanks so much for having us, was great to see you again xox Here's the cousins;
Then the following morning headed to Dunsborough to meet & photograph the Summers family. Was such a beautiful morning & a real pleasure to meet you Michelle & Anthony. This is Michelle & Thomas under the blossom :D
After that we headed straight down to Manjimup to catch-up & photograph our good friends. Was so great to see you guys again & spend some time together. Their newborn Sacha became the apple of Zali's eye & she would literally sit there for hours of every day cradling her while she slept. Every morning she would wait and wait and wait for Sacha to wake up so she could have a cuddle! It was beautiful to see :)
Fynn & Jasper got along like a house on fire, playing in the sandpit & pushing dump trucks around all day!! Here they are having a rare break!
A couple of photo's of the Goods...
and a couple of our terrors in the orchard! It was supposed to be in full bloom, but of course the blossom was a week or so late this year so we missed out :(
We headed home the last Saturday of the school holidays, driving thru from Manji to Geraldton. The kids started to ask "how much longer" about an hour out of town, but other than that, they were fantastic! Arriving back in Geraldton we picked up our 2 new Tonkinese kittens :D Nickel & Coco. They have settled in SO well spending their days either sitting here with me in the Office or on a bench in our room by the window. It's so fantastic to have animals back in the house again :D
My computer broke down (again *sigh*) not long after we got home, so I haven't been able to do any proofing until I get my work computer back (hopefully by the end of the week). I'll have 9 shoots up my sleeve to process by then so it will be a case of head down, bum seated!!
In 4 more weeks, we get to pick up our new Weimaraner, Willow. We went to see the puppies before we left when they were just 3 days old! So very very cute with their wrinkly striped skin! They're 4 weeks old now & we'll hopefully get a chance to go see them again this weekend running around with their eyes open :D
Here they are at 3 days with Fynn;
*phew* I think I am done!
I know I am SO slack with my blog these days. I am seriously considering closing it down as I just find it so hard to keep up to date here & then get the guilts on when I don't or I miss blogging clients etc. We'll see how I go over the rest of the year & I promise I will try to make more of an effort!
Hope you're all well :)
